Telugu Tejam award to Dr. G.PRABHAKAR

The Bangalore based premier Literary Monthly Telugu Magazine "Telugu Tejam" on the occasion of the first anniversary has selected Eight Eminent Personalities from Different fields. Dr.G.PRABHAKAR has been awarded "Telugu Tejm award" for his contribution to Telugu Language and Literature. The award was presented to Dr.G.PRABHAKAR by Sri. Mandali Budda Prasad, Former Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Sri. Siva Saibaba of Sri Sivasaibaba ashramam, ChikkaBallapuram Karnataka on 06-12-2009 at Vidyamandir, ITI, Dooravaninagar, Bangalore. Dr.G.Prabhakar was responsible for training Telugu teachers, both non-mother and mother tongue. He is chiefly responsible for preparation of Telugu text books for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He has conducted National seminars on classical Telugu, Telugu language cinema and Electronic Media, the papers of which have been published.
