Climate

Mysore does not have an extreme type of climate . Weather throughout the year is pleasant. The summers are warm and winters are cool. Mysore enjoys wonderful weather all year round.

April is the hottest month with the daily temperatures varying between 21°C and 34°C.The highest temperatures are from May to June (23-35°C), October to December are the coldest months here, the temperatures ranges from 16°C to 27°C and even at it coolest, the temperature rarely drops below 16°C.

The rainy season is from June to August, but even then it seldom rains all day.

The average annual rainfall in the district is 761.9 mm. One can visit the city any time of the year.
