Essential Qualifications:
- For
positions 1, 2 and 3, Ph.D., in Language/Linguistics
and related disciplines with knowledge and
working experience in Ancient Tamil Literature,
Grammar, Epigraphy, Arts, Architecture etc.
- For
positions 4 and 5, B.E.,/B.Tech.,/M.C.A.,
with experience in computer programming and
web designing.
- For
position 6, B.Com.,/B.B.M., with basic knowledge
of computer and experience in dealing with
accounts.
- For
position 7, any degree with basic knowledge
of computer and experience in office maintenance.
- For
position 8, any degree with basic knowledge
of computer.
- For
position 9, a pass in higher secondary examination
and junior stenography (Tamil and English)
with basic knowledge of computer
Instructions
:
-
These are purely temporary
and the number of positions and particular
requirements are likely to change from time
to time.
-
The
person selected for a particular position
will be engaged for the period for which his/her
services may be required. The initial engagement
will be for a period until March 31,
2006, extendable by one more financial year.

The
engagement can be terminated at any point
of time without giving any reason or notice.
-
The
decision of the Director in availing the services
of the persons is final.
-
For
the positions 1, 2 and 3, essential qualifications
may be relaxed in case of persons with outstanding
scholarship and long experience.
