DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS
The Director as head of Department and the Assistant Director (Admn.) Central Institute of Indian Languages, and the principals of the Centres as Heads of Offices exercise the financial and other powers as delegated to the heads of Departments and Heads of Officers under the Delegation of Financial Power Rules, of the Government of India.
Apart from above the officers of the Institute have the following duties.
Writing academic projects Supervising the doctorate students Extensively interact with the general public and identify the language related problems existing in each area. Make proposals to work on the identified language related problems. Visit the fields and collect data Analyze the data and ,Write the inferences and conclusions.
