Dr. Ramasamy , the Deputy Director of Central Institute of Indian Languages delivered the vote of thanks in the Prof. M. B. Emeneau Centenary International Conference on South Asian Linguistics.
He thanked the eminent Linguist Prof. Ashok .R. Kelkar, who despite his ill-health graced this occasion with his presence and an insightful address suggesting measures for the growth of South Asian Language and Linguistics.
He expressed his gratitude to Prof. Udaya Narayana Singh for his initiation, guidance and moral support that made this historical conference possible. Prof. Ramasamy expressed his sincere thanks to founder-Director of CIIL, Prof. D. P. Patnayak for his gracious presence and opined that Prof. Patnaik inspires and encourages all CIIL endeavors.
He rendered special thanks to Dr. Mallikarjun, Administrative Officer, CIIL, for organizing this conference. He also expressed his thankfulness to foreign delegates, eminent linguists, students, press and the project staff of CIIL for their active involvement in this conference. |
