Announcement for Resource Persons (Academic) for the current Academic session 2008-09

The Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore is looking for qualified and capable Scholars/Academicians interested in working as Resource Person (Academic). Those who are interested may directly send their CV/Biodata with details of qualification and experience along with the copies of the testimonials by Speed Post to the Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Manasagangotri, Mysore – 570 006. The last date of receipt of application is 15th May 2008. |
The details of qualification and experience are as under:-

1. i) Essential: - Master Degree in Linguistics, Comparative Philology, Indian Languages or M.Phil.
ii) Desirable: Ph.D. in Linguistics, Comparative Philology, Indian Languages.
2. Proficiency in any Indian Language as a subject at Secondary School level in the case of Master of Arts, Comparative Philology or as a subject at the Degree level in the case of Master of Arts in subject other than Linguistics and Philology.
3. If the Indian Language is not taught in the school, the Candidate must have it as Mother Tongue.
4. 2 yrs experience of Teaching or Research.
5. Age should not exceed 35 yrs as on 1st June 2008.
6. Preference will be given to those who have passed NET/GRF examinations.
7. Honorarium to be paid Rs.700/- for Ph.D. candidates, Rs.600/- for M.Phil candidates and Rs.500/- for M.A. candidates per day on each working day. |
