Announcement for Resource Persons (Academic) for the academic session 2009-10

The Central Institute of Indian Languages, Mysore is looking for qualified and capable Scholars/Academicians interested in working as Resource Person (Academic), to teach regional language as second language at the following 7 Regional Language Centres of CIIL. They may also be assigned research projects in the concerned language/language teaching/ material production.
Those who are interested may directly send their CV/Biodata with details of qualification and experience along with the copies of certificates, testimonials by Speed Post to the Director, Central Institute of Indian Languages, Manasagangotri, Mysore – 570 006. The last date of receipt of application is 10th May 2009.

The details of qualification and experience are as under:-

1. i) Essential: - Master Degree in Linguistics, Comparative Philology, Indian Languages or M.Phil.
ii) Desirable: Ph.D. in Linguistics, Comparative Philology, Indian Languages.
2. Proficiency in any Indian Language as a subject at Secondary School level in the case of Master of Arts/in Linguistics, Comparative Philology; or as a subject at the Degree level in the case of Master of Arts in subject other than Linguistics and Philology.
3. If the Indian Language is not studied in the school, the Candidate must have it as Mother Tongue.
4. 2 yrs experience of Teaching or Research.
5. Age should not exceed 35 years as on 1st June 2009.
6. Preference will be given to those who have passed NET/GRF examinations.
7. Honorarium to be paid Rs.700/- for Ph.D. candidates, Rs.600/- for M.Phil candidates and Rs.500/- for M.A. candidates per day on each working day. |
