Educational Qualification:
M.A. in Linguistics, University of Kerala.

Previous Teaching and Research Experience:
Organized several Linguistics Training Programmes and taught Phonetics, Phonomics, Ethnolinguistics and Material Production to Language Officers and University Teachers in different States. Taught Tamil as a Second Language to Teacher Trainees in SRLC, CIIL at different instances ranging from a few weeks to a few months.

Current Responsibilities:
Working as a member in the Research Group for Studies on Tribal and Endangered Languages. Editing a volume for CIIL on 'Language Endangerment'.
Involved in the creation of CIIL's Translation website 'Anukriti'.
Involved in CIIL's LIS (Language Information Service) -India project.

Current Projects:
Writing a Car Nicobarese Grammar and compiling a Car Nicobarese-Hindi-English trilingual dictionary which are to be completed soon.
Working on Computational Linguistics related to Machine Translation and Reversible Electronic Dictionaries.
