MATERIALS PRODUCTION GROUP

The Materials Production Group prepares basic instructional materials to teach the major Indian languages as mother tongues as well as second r language to adults and school going children. It develops innovative techniques for the preparation of instructional materials. Such materials are prepared in workshops wherein teachers and researchers work in collaboration. It has produced supplementary teaching materials like Nursery Rhymes, Pictorial Glossaries, Language Games and Cultural Vocabulary in various Indian languages. The group also conducts orientation programmes to key resource persons and language teachers. It also extends consultancy in matters of curriculum development and materials preparation for language education.
