M.A. in Linguistics (Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Tamil Nadu, 1980)
Ph.D. in Linguistics (University of Mysore, Mysore, Karnataka, 2000)

Previous Teaching and Research Experience:
  • 15 years (since 1986 in CIIL) and 5 years (1981-1986 outside CIIL)

Current Responsibilities:
  • Currently involved in the project of devleoping a centralised system called   Multipurpose Indian Language Evaluation System (MILES) to cater to the evaluation   requirements of the country and abroad with reference to Indian Languages and   Literatures for any purpose, for any educational level, and also for any length of time.

Language Teaching, Acoustic Phonetics, Communication, Translation, Material Preparation and Publication
