BioNote: I am a Research Associate at CIIL, currently working on a project that involves developing multilingual content for Early Childhood Education following the recommendations of NEP 2020. I work primarily in the area of sociolinguistics and related fields, having earned my doctoral degree in it with a focus on language policy and planning. Also, I received a Fulbright scholarship at the University of Utah, USA. Prior to and complimentary to this, I hold a Master’s degree in English literature and have received initial training as a research fellow in a UGC Major project on English language teaching. I am interested in teaching English as well as developing digital methods of teaching other Indian languages with a focus on linguistics and applied linguistics, including development of applications therein.
