  • UGC JRF at Annamalai University, 1977-81. Worked for Ph.D. on "Relative Clauses in Kannada".
  • Project Assistant at CIIL, 1982-83. Worked on "Soliga Language"
  • Research Assistant with Anthropological Survey of India at Port Blair, 1983-90. Worked on "Tribal Languages of Andaman".

Current Responsibilities:
Preparing a comprehensive plan for studies in Chattisgarh region.

Current Projects:
Developing a format for computation analysis of Kannada.
